| Bio: Scott “The Peaceful Warrior” Greene was a rare breed of human being. His humble, quiet demeanor oozed a genuine quality that separated him from most others. On his board, he was a calculated killer of the coping. Front side grinds with authority always got the best game-faces… His stoke at a session was unparalleled and he made it a point to praise progression, no matter how big the step. Being a simple person, Scott rolled “medium speed” as to appreciate the real basics that most overlook; sunrises and sunsets, the ocean, empty pools, natural foods, his camera, cold beer, heavy metal, strong tequila, federal stone pool coping, good buckets (or a solid pool pump) and anyone who was down to skateboard. Despite his daily struggles with tinnitus and eventually colon cancer, Scott’s optimistic, positive approach highlighted his ability to face adversity with a grin and focused spirit, never changing his outward appearance towards others. His loss produced a void in many who knew him but, left a gaping hole for his surviving family, a loving wife and beautiful baby girl. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. Cockfight wanted to ensure his legacy lived on with the Peaceful Warrior benefit deck, done in Scotts favorite shape.
